From time to time we have some Science Score users unable to proceed beyond the login page.  Most of them have experienced login page hanging or page getting stuck with loading message.  In many of these these cases we have identified the issue to be linked to “ignoring the active X alert” prompted by the browser.  Users have to allow the Microsoft Active X component to be run in order for the animated characters in Science Score to work.  Some users have also said that they do not see any Active X alert, but their login screen is hanging.  In such cases we have found that their security settings have changed. We have now added a new button in the login page, to assist users with login issues.  Clicking this button will help them know how to install the Active X alert.

The development team is working to remove the necessity to install the ActiveX alert in the login page.  Once done, the login experience is guaranteed to be hassle free.  We expect this feature to go live before end of May.  So stay tuned.
