Here is a new feature that you can look forward to in November. In the jungle scenes in virtual world, you will see a green box with the words “Are you a science nut?”. Clicking on this will open a random science question. These questions are generic, fascinating and very useful to know. They are not intended to test what you learn from your text book, but intended to expand your general knowledge and science awareness. . Correct answers will earn nuts and will be shown in the nut meter. You will need to answer 10 questions (located in different scenes) to reach the top of the nut meter. Once you have earned 1000 nuts, you can use it for buying pets.

We hope you will like this feature and find the questions very interesting to answer. The release date of this feature is in the 3^rd week of November 2008.

Based on inputs from kids, we have integrated another cool feature in the virtual world. You can click on an animated “magic wand on a hat” image in the jungle scenes to reveal interesting visual illusions. The illusions keep changing in different scenes. The illusions cover a wide variety of creativity. This will keep you engrossed and thinking. This feature is being released in November 2008.

We mentioned in our May blog that we are building an urban landscape to allow kids to teleport from the jungle scenes, after buying a special pass. The urban landscape is taking a little longer than expected and we hope to make this feature available in about 2 months time. The urban settings have some very interesting features including futuristic buildings, futuristic class rooms, computer lab etc. we will be providing a collaborative white board feature in the class room where users can write, collaborate and share thoughts with a teacher moderator.
